My name is Frano Grgić — I’m the author behind calculatorsforex.com: a forex trader, market analyst, and trading educator. You can find my professional background on LinkedIn.

I’m an engineer by background who came into the forex world looking for a new opportunity, and ended up building a career around it — trading my own accounts, analyzing markets, and mentoring other traders through my forex education site, GetKnowTrading. Years spent working through position sizing, margin, and pip-value math the hard way — through my own trades, and through helping GetKnowTrading readers work through the same calculations as a mentor — is what led directly to this site.

Why this site exists

calculatorsforex.com came out of a pattern I kept running into on GetKnowTrading: readers needed a fast, accurate way to check their numbers before placing a trade — lot size, margin required, pip value — and the calculators I built there for less mainstream instruments turned out to be some of the most-used tools on the whole site. This site takes that further: dedicated, accurate calculators for every instrument a trader actually needs, not just the popular ones. You can browse the full calculator library to see what’s live so far.

What I actually verify

Every calculator on this site uses contract specifications and formulas I’ve checked directly, not just copied from wherever. Where a number genuinely depends on your specific broker — contract size and margin requirements can vary — the calculator says so explicitly, rather than pretending there’s one universal answer.
